A tall robust plant that looks best at the back of the border or in front of shrubs.
Will grow into a nice clump. Attracts butterflies.

Full sun to semi-shade; average soil.

Aster seeds have a low germination rate, so plant lots. You can always thin them out later. Sow the seeds directly into the garden in late fall and they will germinate in the spring. If starting indoors, moist cold stratify for 2-4 weeks.
