This species spreads rapidly by underground runners and can quickly
form a large dense patch on bare ground. It is very tough and drought-tolerant.
Foliage is grey-green and the flowers are tiny and inconspicuous.
Stems and leaves are used by Aboriginal people for smudging.

Full Sun; poor soil.
