Events
Love talking to people about native plants? Volunteer to staff booths at sales and other events and spread the word, stock plants, process sales, or help with any of the myriad tasks associated with outreach and sales.
Restoration Work
If you love the outdoors and are passionate about conservation, come out to one of several restoration sites ENPS maintains. Help us keep these prairie remnants flourishing, observing native plants and their communities within their habitats.
Thistle Patrol
The long-lived thistle patrol is vital to the health of natural areas. Removing invasive thistle species by hand negates the need for chemical treatments, that also harm several native species, allowing native plant communities to flourish.
Growing Plants
Help spread the joy of gardening with native plants by joining our propagation efforts. You can volunteer at a variety of work sessions from potting seedlings and small plants to cleaning and labelling plants for sale. If you're an experienced grower who would like to help produce native plant stock, get in touch!
Demonstration Beds
Love gardening and want hands-on experience working with native plants? Looking for inspiration for your own garden? Join us at one or more of our demonstration beds, which build an appreciation in the community for incorporating native plants in maintainied gardens and landscapes.
